Cedar City Competition

On Friday and Saturday I had a dance competition in Cedar City. I didn't do anything until Saturday, but I went with my friend Megan, she is on my dance team and she had a solo on Friday so we left on Friday at about 11:00 in the morning. We got there around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Megan did GREAT on her two solos.

The next day we got up very early for how late we went to sleep the other night. (we went to bed at maybe 11p.m. and woke up at 7:00 in the morning) We got ready, went to the breakfast they had at our hotel or motel whatever one it was. We danced ALL day. We did fabulous on ALL of our dances. After the competition we had this thing where they called up pre schoolers, they played a song, and all of the preschoolers were supposed to dance and the judges
each picked one and gave them a lip gloss or a nail polish. My dance teachers daughter, Rylinn went up and danced...it was THE CUTEST THING EVER!!! She went up there and was shaking her bum with the hugest snile on her face. Every one from our studio was screaming our heads off for her...and she was doing her splits, yes her splits, and leg extention and all of the things she could think of. Meanwhile the other little girls were all from the same studio (except for maybe
one or two of them that were maybe not even in dance) They were holding hands and running around in circles with eachother. One of the judges comes up to Rylinn and gave her some nail polish, Alexis (my dance teacher (Rylinns mom) takes her off of the gym floor and she is smiling SO BIG it was the cutest thing ever!! So they call up the 2nd & 3rd graders and they dance...4th & 5th grade 6th & 7th grade that's me, I didn't get anything but I don't really care. 8th and 9th and up...

Ok so after that they do awards...EVERY one of our dances from our whole studio gets 1st place except for one dance (junior company's dance I'm not sure what one it was) We had a great time. After the awards of course EVERY ONE has to take pictures.

We went to go eat after the comp. and then we all went to the swimming pool at the hotel we were staying at and stayed there till maybe 8:30 and then came back to our room and Megan's mom and Grandma were watching some Beauty and the Beast movie after that we went out for ice cream, we went to iceberg's and Alexis and Maddie and the rest of their family was there. Ok me and Megan and her mom got mini's of the ice cream...they were not mini...they were HUGE!!And that was the size of the minis we went back to our room ands tarted watching The GamePlan, we couldn't finish our ice cream so we put it in the freezer in our room, me and Megan both fell asleep during The Game Plan...

The next day we went to breakfast and saw almost every one from our studio, came backpacked up, and got going...

Cedar City was VERY fun... I had a great time!
